The GOP in Texas has had the reputation of being a very hard Right party. But maybe that perception wasn’t totally true…a moderate Republican is likely to become Speaker of the House in the Texas Legislature
No, I’d say that reputation certainly was totally true. My prediction, however, is that this is only the beginning of the GOP Revolt of 2009, in which an increasingly large number of state parties and GOP leaders begin to embrace the moderate majority. It’s about time if you ask me.
